Hedgehog approved home
I have a hedgehog, semi-tame which has been living for years in a sack in my garden under the potting table. She raised five young hoglets this year for the first time and after they left for pastures new I thought Snufflebum needed an upgrade. I was very pleased with my purchase, it is natural looking and well made. It doesn't have a base, but that's fine, because I put a board under it and it means I can lift it up if I ever need to clean it out. The day after I placed it under the potting table, the hedgehog moved in and has give it her seal of approval. The bird house and feeder are an additional bonus, so I would recommend this and it's good value. Looks Rustic, Looks Good
I LOVE these. I have hedgehogs living under my decking which is due to be removed as it's unsafe. i wanted something to hand for them to move into and these appealed. The bonus was the bird feeder and house. I bought two lots. They are packaged well, lightweight and there is no setting up of anything. They are all rustic looking and there are a couple of small holes in the roof where the joins are, so not 100% waterproof. They just need to go under bushes or I will recycle the decking and build a little protective case around them. I can't comment on usage yet as the project is yet to start. They do look good though, even if I didn't have hedgehogs, I think I would buy them as ' just in case ' purchase.I LOVE these. lightweight, blends in with the garden well
All the garden nests and shelters are very well made, value for money and blend in with the garden, as if they have been there for ages. The hedgehog house is larger than I thought it would be, so a nice size for the hedgehog to hibernate in, with some straw and hay will be nice and toasty.
