      Logitech Wireless Marathon Mouse M705

      Love this mouse. I have purchased at least four over the years for multiple computers. Had one wear out after about four years for excess use. Has back and forward thumb buttons, which I love. The scroll is like a flywheel, you spin it and it will run your page real fast up or down, (love that too). Very comfortable in the hand, (might not be so comfortable for very small hands though), all buttons very easily accessible. I give it a 5 star rating!

      Decreased quality

      This mouse replaces the exact same model manufactured some years ago. The original, superb mouse was wearing out, hence the purchase of a replacement - the identical model. Sadly, the new mouse hesitates while moving across the screen, even the scroll wheel doesn't compare to the original. It, too, lags during use. I suspect, like every other product purchased today, the manufacturer is cutting corners in the endless pursuit of money - fueled by pure greed. In my opinion.

      Logitech Mouse

      I have used primarily Logitech and Microsoft mice, and in my opinion, Logitech is the superior brand in mice. This one is the best wireless mouse I have ever used because it works at long distance. I needed it for my security system, which is in another room in my home. I plugged in the dongle in the DVR and the mouse worked great in my office, several feet away.

      2 batteries

      My old version had one battery, this one has two. It remains to be seen whether this results in double life before replacement. The new model switched the bottom button and wheel button assignments.

      Last Mouse I will Buy

      I've bought a lot of mice, and I can say by far this is the best one on the market. It's amazingly comfortable, and fully customizable. It also has an extra "thumb button" that you can set to perform whatever function you chose. In my line of work I have to copy and paste a lot and set that button as paste. Made my life so much easier! The batteries do last for years in it also which is great. Scrolling is a breeze as well b/c the scroll wheel has a free spinning setting as well so it will scroll super fast! I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on any other mouse. You get your money's worth and then some with this one.
