I am really pleased with these radios, very easy to programme, nice to hold, very clear signal, and the battery seems to have a good stand-by time. Also they look very cool. I wasn't sure if I'd like the screen, as opposed to a digital read-out, but I quickly got used to it. I haven't tried the range yet, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be rather decent. Generally very good.
Easy to set up and great clarity at short/medium range, but the signal quality drops off quite quickly compared to some much cheaper equivalents at longer ranges or when line of sight is badly obstructed.

Great lightweight comms units. Easy to use, weatherproof, small, and sound quality is fine. Not tested yet in open country but work fine around village (half mile max test distance). Will be using on Northumbrian moors in April so hoping all OK. Comes in handy case too to keep all the accessories together.
