I always use Dylin dye, with great success. I think the new packaging is nonsense. It used to be in a recyclable cardboard box. When the rest of the world is looking fir ways ti cut down on plastic waste, Dylon in their wisdom change from cardboard to a horrible plastic drum.I just empty the contents into the drum as before with no problem whatsoever I have read reports of streaky and uneven end products when the pack was thrown into the washing machine. DONT DO IT. Just empty contents in.

The package arrived very quickly and safely. The colour was just as described on the box (Rosewood red) and I followed the instructions carefully. I was able to dye about 700 g of cotton fabric and the colour was saturated and even. I haven't washed any item yet so I don't know how well fixed the dye is, but I am very pleased with the result. You DO need to wash out your machine twice!
