- s***i (534)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseI give the seller 5 stars. I gave the heater 3 stars because I did a simple runtime test with it. On high the heater overheated, and shut down in under 12 minutes. On medium and low. I stopped the test at just over a hour, and it did not overheat or shut off. This heater has a bad flaw when running it on high. It will overheat and shut down. It does not use a lot of power compared to other heaters, but with the design it will overheat and shut down if you need to use high for a long time.Follow-up from: s***i- Feedback followed up on by buyer.- Feedback followed up on by buyer.After drilling some holes in the upper top on the front, and on the top itself. I gained a runtime between 36 minutes and 48 minutes, but it still overheated on high and shut down. A 50 dollar heater should not overheat. It's a bad design. I then tested this on a 1500 watt inverter running off of my 90 amp alternator in my van. Other than the high heat setting shutting the heater off. The other settings worked like the should. Low heat ran at engine idle speeds without running my battery down.
