As Christmas approached I became aware of the fact the my normal dinner service for every day use was quite depleted. Usually more visitors appear at this time of year which meant more plates and cups!! Most of the crockery I looked at for me personally was either too modern or poorer quality. That is the ones within my budget. After searching for a while I went to ebay and saw this offer which was a very generous one. You always take a bit of a risk with this type of purchase as ideally handling the items tells more of the quality. Also the colours and design are much better to appraise. As it turned out there was no need for concern whatsoever. This item is quality - well made and very nice to see on the table. Without reservation and really honestly I was not disappointed - ... I had to urgently buy a dinner service as we had guests over the Christmas holiday. Several I found were not big enough for us or as cheerful as a dismal day. Luckily I found a dinner service for six with a floral decoration. It was well used over the season, and after being washed is still an entire set. (A miracle in our house.)
