Ernie Ball's signature ball ends make use of brass wire rod, which is carefully machined to ensure a perfect fit with the guitar's bridge. Great tone and easy playing.
Recently bought an Electro-acoustic guitar but found the string tension way more than I am used to and it gave me very sore fingers after even a short play. The purchase of these Ernie Ball extra lights was therefore a bit of a desperation measure but thankfully they not only get me through a good hour or two of practise they also sound rich and full, so well done EB.

NICE SOUND
`Bought these as a bit of an experiment. Prefer extra-light strings on my electrics so tried some on an accoustic. Learning finger-style and they really suit on my folk LAG - lovely clear ring and comfortable for this kind of playing. But I think I will keep lights on my Martin GA - bigger body and slightly heavier strings seem to suit chords - more depth.

Great strings makes playing so comfortable, I wouldn't give it five though more like 10.
Does a fantastic job after I bought a brand new guitar the strings were so strong and uncomfortable to use I think it would have been better as a cheese cutter, just could not finger pick, so went back to good old Ernie Ball and after I put them on the guitar it was perfect.

Superb sounding strings
It never occurred to me to try ERNIE BALL strings. I've used other branded strings in the past such as Fender, Martin etc. I heard on You Tube the guitarist Albert Lee saying that he used Ernie Ball strings. Now if these strings are good enough for Albert Lee, they're certainly good enough for me. I was pleasantly surprised at the tone of these strings when fitted to my Fender F75 acoustic guitar. Not too deep - but pleasantly rich. They also hold their tuning very well. Some strings that I've used in the past tended to lose their tuning regularly. These Ernie Ball strings hold their tuning rather well. They are also very reasonably priced. I would've given these strings FIVE stars but that stands for " amazing " I absolutely hate the word " amazing "It never occurred to me to try ERNIE BALL strings.
