The item arrived very swiftly and was exactly as listed, I gave a positive feedback because it is not possible to give a negative score until after one week and this is exactly what would have been given had it been possible to do so. I am so disappointed because your carrier has let you down very badly, this particular delivery person is both lazy and incompetent because the package was just left out in the rain. This person was too idle to even bother to ring the door or use the drop box.

Item as described and very impressed with the next day delivery! Arrived in official Amazon branded and sealed packaging. I checked to find the item much cheaper on that site even after deducting any possible delivery charges ( if not a prime member). So very impressed with the sellers ingenuity and good business sense.

Full marks for entrepreneurship sales-sweet. Arrived in Amazon packaging day after ordering (as Amazon Prime). Belatedly checked Amazon prices (I usually do this routinely before ordering but must have slipped my mind. On sale on Amazon for £3 cheaper than sellers EBay price. So there you go - I feel I have been suckered. Leaving a positive review but only because not illegal or technically dishonest I suppose. Enjoy your £3 profit sales-sweet. I will certainly never buy anything from you again

Immediate, gripping, fast moving and very relevent to today.

The Hate U Give spells "THUG" - obvious when you see the spine. Thug is one of the stereotype names applied by outsiders to people they perceive to live in "ghetto" districts, Star and her family still live in a "poor" / "black" area but she and her brothers go to a white school in a neighbouring area - which creates both context and contrast. Star effectively lives in two worlds (which are very well distinguished). Events force her to come to terms with her life. This is a really excellent book for today. A "must read" more than of the order of "Lord of the Flies". It should be on the National Curriculum. I suppose that it could be called a modern/current "To Kill a Mocking Bird" - except that it is far, far better than that. This must be a good book - I have immediately bought ...

  • Good book very informative great service too

I read this book as part of a book club and it was informative and easy to read. I like that more diverse books are published openly talking about social and racial issues
