The real flame effect is genuinely convincing and adds a lovely focal point to the room. It produces a cosy, noticeable warmth that takes the chill off nicely, especially on cooler evenings. One thing to note: it does get through the fuel a bit faster than I expected. That said, when I worked it out, it’s not dissimilar to what I’d use in wood.

However, one board had broken during handling/transit, which is beyond me given the amount of packaging and clear labels. On contacting the seller, they immediately sent a replacement board, which arrived only two working days later. Excellent comms & seller to do business with, would buy again.
