This Intel processor supports the LGA 775 Socket, which allows improved heat dissipation over prior models. The Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 handles its memory through 64-bit instruction set, carrying a 2 MB L2 cache for quick access to frequently used commands, making for a more seamless user experience. With Intel SpeedStep technology, this dual-core processor switches voltage and frequency to respond to processor load, resulting in optimised power consumption. Finally, this Intel processor protects against buffer overflow attacks with Execute Disable Bit, potentially salvaging the network from malicious code.
