Handy compact gadget that has numerous smaller battery applications. Delivered quick & whilst ‘early doors’ re durability - went through a pile of batteries quickly - I cross checked with a more expensive & larger multimeter I used as a mechanic years ago. It was consistent with readings. Very pleased - it’s a lot more convenient to keep handy in the house & needs no expertise to use it (just ensure you orientate batteries + & - in the right direction -as per arrows on device!)

Great little tool. I have tested it with all sorts of batteries and rechargeable cells. No problems at all. It is very lightweight so be careful with it don't put it in a toolbox. But at less than £4 (and free postage) it is a bargain.

Wonderful device, so easy to use as no wires and probes to touch batteries. Just put cylinder shape 1.5v battery in and slide up the “clamp” to see the state of the battery on the colour display. Rectangular rectangular 9v batteries, just press against the sensors on the end of the device to see the state of the battery on the display.

    Well worth the money

    A very simple & easy to use item. You don't have to put batteries inside it to make it work nor do you have to charge it via a USB. I have no idea how long this automatic testing system will last, a few months or even, maybe, a few years. I just know that I had a bag full of batteries some of which I knew were out of charge & some of which were brand new. Now I've got one pile that are completely out of charge, one pile that have quite a bit of life still in them and a final pile which are totally brand new and are full of life. Well worth the few quid it cost to buy.

    You get what you pay for.

    Very basic and cheaply made. Somewhat awkward to use compared with my old one. Power indicator values tend to change each time a battery is tested, and I ended up testing each battery a dozen times and taking an average of all readings I'll be looking to buy a better one.

    A cheap and invaluable tool.

    I use a lot of batteries and often swap out batteries from my recorders to be certain they're good for the evening, so I end up with quite a few loose batteries accumulated, but have no idea which ones have useful power left, or didn't. This works well and let me easily sort the useful from the useless, no fuss, no bother. It might be cheap and cheerful, but why pay more when this does the job?

    Simple to use battery tester

    An good value, easy to use battery tester for ordinary types of replaceable battery. No bother reading a meter, the LED display gives an instant indication of the battery state. Place the battery between the jaws, push up the red jaw to make contact and the traffic light display shows what is left in the battery. Just make sure the battery is round the right way, as shown on the tester.

    Every home should have a small Battery Tester.

    I bought this Battery Tester obviously to test batteries the main reason being disabled so much easier with this than using a Multimeter for the small stuff. Great value and easy to use and saves you wondering if the Batteries are any good so useful to have.
