Seller answered a pre-purchase question promptly. Description stated "no leaks". Seller accepted offer. Forks were promptly shipped. Forks arrived in a beaten up poorly taped box; crumpled newspaper used as a packing medium; one of the brake mounts poking through inadequate foam; seller silent when sent photos - zero response. Worse, oil is present in both air valves, indicating leaks. It will cost the price of the forks to correct issues. Utterly inadequate packing and inaccurate description.

He complained about the box arriving in poor condition. I promptly replied with an apology, but shipping is unpredictable sometimes. The forks were wrapped in bubble wrap, boxed and paper was used to keep the forks from moving around. He made no mention of any leaks, this is the first I'm hearing about it. Doesn't really matter though because all forks spring a little oil from the valves especially when releasing air. This is a non issue.

The seller did NOT reply back, nor offer any "apology" when a complaint with photos was made. Any statement stating such is untrue. The box was cobbled together and poorly taped. 1/4" of foam covered by tape covered the brake bosses - small wonder the boss poked through. A trained Marzocchi mechanic has a different opinion regarding oil in air valves. The fork was poorly packed, and poorly shipped. Period. The feedback left is accurate.
