      Finally a safe feeling chair.

      I have a chair that is fine, however the base and wheel assembly were of some type of plastic. Needles to say this is not a product that will hold up under the weight and use of a big man. The base broke and the wheel fell out of its position. This new metal base with the larger diameter and heavier built wheels are perfect. It was quite easy to replace and is so much more durable and safe feeling. I don't worry about the thing collapsing again or tipping so far that I would fall out of it. thank You.

      Good base for the money.

      So far, I used just the base wheels on a very expensive gaming chair because the base has broken twice. The wheels are very strong which I need as I weigh 320.If you have a chair that you like with a bad cylinder, or a crack seat bracket throw the base in the recyling bin and buy this base. You will definably be happy with your old chair again. I still have the main cylinder left over which I will use on another chair with a broken bracket. I will fix 2 of my best chairs with this base unit which makes me very happy. You know how expensive good chairs are.

      Made a new chair out of my antique !

      It is well made ! It adapted easy to my wooden office chair ! I changed the casters to a better quality but the ones that came on it were good ! I just had put better ones on my old chair !

      Good quality item delivered in timely fashion. Seems to be well-built. Fits the old chair quite well, although I had to drill out the holes to make them wide enough to fit the threaded holes on the bottom of the chair.
