    Beach day for blind people!!

    My blind group really enjoyed feeling the sand on their feet during our beach party. They don’t get out much and never to the seaside so it was lovely to be able to bring it to them. It brought back many happy memories for them.

    The reason I bought this is for my hamsters to have fun bathing in without the presence of harsh substances irritating them.

    My hamsters love this product. I baked the entire contents to rid the sand of moisture and sanitise it, and sift out traces of gravel. It’s going to last me a long time. 👍👍👍

    Light coloured, soft play sand

    A light coloured, soft play sand. The item was quite heavy to lift at 25kgs. It filled the whole one side of the sand pit. Delivered in great time too.

    perfectly suitable for the sandpit, a bit less than hoped

    The sand is fine, seems clean, no complaints from me or the children. I was a bit disappointed by it being only 18 kg and quite moist at that too. The product description states the actual weight can vary between 15 kg and 25 kg depending on moisture content. A 25 kg bag (i.e. 7 litres more water) must be really quite soggy.

    perfect for the job in hand.

    This sand was specifically the sand that I required as a keeper of chickens this sand was used with a special earth and mixed together to make a dusting bath to enable my chickens to cleanse themselves to help rid themselves of mites and i can say they are loving it.
