Frustration at times
Most of the parts do not fit as its a early kit, instructions are a bit vague not showing where parts where go to. not a brilliant construction kit plastic a bit soft. kits have moved on so much these days, so if you want a challenge get this kit

Too much hard work.
This casting from 1962 is too old now. The flashing is excessive and the fit of many parts is poor. That is if you can follow the instructions, which are very vague and hard to follow without referencing photos. Some of the pictures are just scribble.

Oh dear, what a disappointment this was. Nearly every part has flashing, many parts have injector marks or erroneous moulding that needs trimming off, the plastic is so soft and parts that locate with pins line don't up or fit with the corresponding holes, I know the tools for this were made in 1962 and 'nostalgia' is the name of the game, but it really is time Airfix cashed in for the scrap steel value of the moulds for this one. A total waste of money. Oh dear, what a disappointment this was. Be aware they could be seconds
Some parts were deformed on the tractor unit possibly during manufacturing process or the kit has been in extreme temperatures, was going to purchase another kit but dubious now as they could be seconds, I have built the kit but it is not up to a standard I was expecting from Hornby
