    updated modern carpentry instruction book - a winner!!

    I had the 1984 edition of this manual and used it to build my own center entrance colonial, what a great book!! Recently purchased land to build another house, immediately went online to see if there was an updated "Modern Carpentry" book, found the newest edition on ebay, the price was great, and the book was fantastic. I have been in the construction arena since the 1970's, i still use this book aas a reference guide. beginner or pro, this is a great book, a lot better than the cable tv do it yourself shows.

    I bought this book for my husband who is an engineer and carpenter of sorts and needed some information. As I glanced thru this book it will be a great addition to our reference library as there are always questions in a woman's mind as to how they calculate many things in construction. Very interesting and well written information

    Modern Carpentry 2003

    Detailed and thorough. Great for reference. I had an older edition dated 1979 I used for reference when engaged in building projects around the place but need to up-date. The 2003 edition covers everything I need.
