A necessary first start towards IT certifications in Windows networking
The book is new condition and contains the DVD. It has all the qualifications of the re-released version of the book. So far, in reading the book, there is more clarity than in the first edition. The one glaring omission with the book is that it doesn't discuss how to setup the virtual network to fulfill its tasks. That is an obvious problem with the book. The book does mention using Hyper-V to create virtual computers, but gives no indication that one must download Windows Server 2012 [r2] and then enable the Hyper-V role -- there is no stand-alone version of Hyper-V. Gratefully, Windows allows one to use Server 2012 R2 free of charge for six months to evaluate the product. The student is left with the task to evaluate Hyper-V to determine the network settings to connect the virtual ... The book is new condition and contains the DVD. Originally I purchased this for reference guide all in all I'm pretty happy with the product, it does give you all the download you need to create the DVDs that accompany the physical book, it does give you a PDF of the book, which both has its good and its downside. But if push comes to shove, you can always print out the book. Pretty Good
I have used books from several other companies on the Microsoft certification exams. The ones from Microsoft are by far the best. After all it is their exam. I always recommend reading several different books on any subject to get different views but make sure where Microsoft certifications are concerned you start with their books. All in all they are pretty good.

As Described.
A complete digital copy of the book - great for helping you pass your exam. The only benefit of getting the actual book is the DVD with the software. But if you don't have that, this is a great alternative. eBook comes in PDF format.
