The only reason I sent this item back was because it came broken in transit, I did not reorder because of the time of year and didn't want to risk the same thing happening again. I have used the same one owned by my friend and they are a good piece of kit, light weight, long lasting would be good with a variable dimmer switch 👍👍

Very powerful beam
Haven't tried this particular one yet as it was bought for a present for someone, however, we already have one and love it. We use it when walking the dog in the dark and it's so bright and powerful, we haven't really used the red lens so can't comment on that. It's very light considering the size but is a bit bulky to hold, ideally I'd like it to have some way to be able to attach it to my clothes. The battery life is good, ours is a couple of years old now so we are having to charge it more frequently but still get a good few hours use out of it. Brilliant piercing beam
small and light weight , piercing white light the beam travelled beyond my expectations, it arrived with a red filter , this however was awkward to put on and remove, by removing the three retaining arms on the filter it instantly became easier to use.

Super bright handheld lamp
This is an amazingly bright torch. The beam is a little too narrow and would be improved markedly if it was focusable. It is so bright that even colours are discernable at distance. I am very happy with my purchase
