George is a noble man who has spent much of his life on a crusade to stop shady local businessman Henry Potter (Lionel Barrymore û TREASURE ISLAND, DUEL IN THE SUN) from taking over the picturesque town of Bedford Falls. However, on a typically snow-covered Christmas Eve, George plays right into Potter's hands when his uncle manages to lose a considerable amount of their family business' money on the way to the bank.     Golden Oldie Movie

    I only watched this film for the first time last year and kicked myself for not watching it sooner. It's a warm hearted film about family, loyalty, love and hardship and is the definition of Christmas. This film will have you getting that warm glow on the run up to Christmas. This is my favourite Christmas film and if you don't like to watch black and white films they have managed to do it in colour to. I would recommend this film to anyone even the Grinch's heart would melt for this film.
