Insulation kits appear to be working just fine. I think the tape needed to be a bit larger to make it easier to remove the backing before attaching the film, but we managed it.

Have previously bought similar items to these. Works well and is fairly easy to put up, but needs better double side tape. It's not sticky enough to hold up. Had to buy separately.

    Adequate if appearance isn't important! Very cheap.

    Tape pulled away from window frame when film was shrunk. Despite replacing one corner of tape by morning it had all pulled back, leaving wrinkled film. Film is milky in appearance not crystal clear like some I have used previously - more polythene than cellophane like. If the view through the window is important, don't use it. Very cheap, easy to apply and shrinks well in heat.

    Bad tape - great film

    The film itself is great, but the sticky tape is very bad quality...mine came off after 1 day...completely :( It is a shame really as the size of the film and the tickness are perfect. It will be great if you change your tape to a better one.

    Easy to install and works great !

    I live in a very old house, with no insulation or double glazing. I bought this product about 10 years ago and in the winter it raised the internal temperature by approx 8 degrees.! Unfortunately, after such a long time, it has become damaged, so it is time to change it once again, which is not too bad a job at all and I should be able to do all the windows in the house ( 9 ) in about 2 hours.

    It's cheap for a good reason

    I know it was an inexpensive product but the roll of tape included is of such low quality, that it just unsticks itself and the film then peels off! Total waste of time and money! Buyer beware!

    Works a charm.

    Works exactly as I was hoping. Placed the tape around the window and then cut out the plastic to cover. Has a nice, tight fit and keeps out any drafts - no need to use blow dryer.
