My first mole hill appeared last October (2017). Within a short space of time there were many mole hills. Over a six month period I had two experienced mole catchers putting down traps , both were unsuccessful. I decided to try the sonic deterrent. I have a largest sized garden so I needed two . It worked, no more mole hills. I am pleased that the detergent hasn’t stopped hedgehogs coming for their food and water. I am also very pleased with the service I have received. Better than other designs ...... BUT !
I bought several of these and several of another design. These do work at keeping moles at bay but you should be aware that all of the mole deterrent devices have flaws in their design. They are not fully waterproof. These I have modified by wrapping the top in clingfilm and using an elastic band around the stem to waterproof the head this works well and so these have continued to work. The other designs with the roundhead and aluminium stem have simply filled with water. So in conclusion these are probably the best of a bad bunch. Okay if you are prepared to go the extra mile to maintain them.I bought several of these and several of another design. Unsure yet whether it works. No further molehills but that is not conclusive.
Instructions told you to remove protective plastic cover over the solar panel. Scraped and scratched but there appeared not to be one, at least not a removeable one.

No more mr mole….
There are moles in the field next to my garden.. Since I’ve installed the big cheese, Mole Spike I have had no more problems with Mr MOLE…👍🏻

Doesn’t work, the moles ignore them.
I have three of these in a concentrated area where there is mole activity, they’ve been in place for a fortnight and have made no difference whatsoever, there are mole hills all around and even directly under them. Nice idea but they just don’t work in my experience.
