Great Movie
You have to have watched the other four movies to get the best from this movie. There is a ending to the series but the fighting continues. They could make more movies but they could not keep the story line from the other five. It would be a completely new series. Leave it alone as this Phantasm 5 finishes the mystery of the Tall Man. RIP Tall Man.

It's just not the same...
This could have been so good...but instead they turned it into a resthome thing. They should have followed the common element of Reggie and Mike kicking ass and taking out the Tall Dude...but it was just not right...When you see Phantasm 1 and Phantasm2 this is just a solid letdown!

What happened to this series... the ball drained it's blood!
Wow... as a life-long fan of this series, I'm still in shock and not in awe of this fifth installment. I get how Coscarelli kept trying to tie back in former characters and hey, we even got to see Rocky at the end but come on... Back and forth and then back and forth and then sideways, then upside-down, then, around, then back to the beginning then a word from their sponsor then....argh!?!?! Enough!?!?!?! Tell ONE story from the many, to some sort of conclusion or at least have a point to the path you took... Bottom-line: This was a giant headache from start to finish but that's just it, it had no finish... is Reggie dead because they showed that and then, after we get re-introduced to Rocky, for absolutely no reason other than nostalgia, there's Reg again, rejoining his friends ... Wow... as a life-long fan of this series, I'm still in shock and not in awe of this fifth installment. WE LOST A GREAT MAN; ACTOR, AUTHOR, FRIEND, in Mr. Angus Scrimm (Tall Man)... God Bless Lawrence Rory Guy and thank you for all you contributed to us all!
