Very good value for money,
I'll be honest it a good beginner test kit, it's good basic results , and because it cheap I use it on all 5 of my Aquariums including Marine, I use it to cross reference with more expensive kits.

Ok if you're not in a rush
The product is a good general view of your nitrates but it isn't easy to distinguish between 10 - 20 ppm and 30-40 ppm. Colors are VERY similar. You have to shake the second bottle like mad for much longer than 30 seconds in order to get a semi-accurate reading. This is a good product for the price all and all, and you can get a good enough reading. Its just a lot of time and work to do so.

Accurate & cost-effective
Not the most convenient method of testing for harmful nitrates in aquarium water - the test strips are much easier - but this is more cost effective if you are doing it regularly. But down to personal preference I guess
