Whistling kettle - does as the title says!
Bought this as I now have an induction hob, and I thought I'd try it out. The kettle is really good. It boils water as quick as my 2kW electric kettle,but using less power. Couldn't have expected more. The handle is comfortable to grip, and the trigger for lifting the whistle is easy to use. The button for dropping the whistle took a bit of getting used to, but works fine now I've got the hang of it. The whistle, incidentally, seals well onto the spout, and whistles really loudly,with no steam shooting out of the seal around the spout. Lovely kettle
I love this kettle but does take longer than a plug in kettle to boil, not that that bothers me! Sometimes if you pick up the handle in slightly wrong place it can be very hot and awkward to pour!

Lovely kettle, cheaper to run!
It's a lovely kettle. It boils in around 6 minutes at a third full. It's a good pourer and the whistle is not too loud. My cat is fine with it so all in all a good purchase.
