Item definitely looks like a "knock off", painting on the buttons and the material don't look quite right, and you have to point directly at the sensor on the sky box for it to work. That being said, for the price it's definitely a good budget option in comparison to a genuine sky remote. Don't expect the world but I would recommend!

If your looking for a remote for a budget price it's OK.
Good points about this Sky Q remote: 1) It looks good same as the original. 2) Easy to program. 3) Well packaged and looks brand new. 4) Good value . Bad points about this Sky Q remote: 1) Very light weight just does not have the feel of a quality product. 2) The buttons on the remote when selecting channels have to be pressed several times which can get annoying. 3) Try using new batteries this made a slight difference in connecting. Summery: If your looking for a remote for a budget price its OK. Not Bluetooth but does everything
My Sky Q box was supplied with an excellent Bluetooth enabled remote control which is voice controlled..My family find it convenient to have more than one remote and unfortunately it is not technically possible for two Bluetooth remotes to be paired with the same Sky Q box. This one connects by infra red so it does not need to be paired with the box. At first glance it looks identical to the original Bluetooth remote but it is shorter and does not have the blue button to access the microphone. The function buttons are not all in the same place but all work well. Not impressed
Looks great, programmes easily to sky q box but is really sluggy! Pressing a button either works.. doesn't work at all or has a time delay where you are repeatedly pressing which eventually catches up.. taking you .. well who knows!. I think we will end up buying more as I think these will drive us mad! Sadly could be a waste of money 😞
