Buy Shaun White before you get this
Decent enough snowboarding game but technically inferior in every way to the Shaun White snowbarding games on wii. Would recommend them first before buying this.

SSX Blur
I bought this item because I used to have SSX On Tour for PS2 and I absolutely loved it. I recently acquired a Wii and I have a passion for snowboarding games. Long story short I bought SSX Blur, I'm still getting used to the controls but this game is almost exactly the same as SSX On Tour. The tracks are the same the only thing that isn't is the music, SSX On Tour has the most amazing music and Blur doesn't :( it was disappointing as the music is part of the gaming experience. But all the same it's great. Very good game, the graphics excel in the Wii hardware, and the feeling of speed is definitely there. The new controller system increases the enjoyment, making you hardly repeat a trick on your jumps, but the game missing online features really made it feel incomplete. Also, the tutorials are not very easy to grab, but you will easily get the drill in the game by playing it. The music score is good, not great (very repetitive). The unlockables are nice, the split-screen is fun and it is a fantastic game to hotseat with friends at home. Glad I bought it
Bought this game for my son(age9) who is into snowboarding just now and it was a big hit with him and his younger brothers. They play this one more than the skateboarding game and they all picked it up quickly
