Since the demise of Palmolive I've been seeking a decent shaving soap, I want a bar like this not am aerosol. So this arrived and I have to say it gives a good covering and my razor responds closely with it. Perhaps a little too scented for some tastes but I've got over that due to being able to shave properly again. I would buy again. *****

Arko shaving soap review
I have been using Arko shaving soap since the Covid lock down and have been very pleased with it. That is why I searched for some more when I ran out, and eBay came to the rescue! It is much more "eco" than something out of a pressurized can!

Good value and pleasant to use
This soap creates a good lubricating lather for a nice smooth shave. It’s has a pleasant but undefinable scent , not too strong. The only negative,sort of , is that there is no holder or grip. You just take the soap and rub it on your face . I’m used to shaving sticks that have a plastic base to hold while applying. So your hands get a bit soapy but that’s no great hardship as you’re washing your face anyway. This soap creates a good lubricating lather for a nice smooth shave.
