Ganz einfach: Es ist nach unserem Kenntnisstand eines der ganz wenigen Bucher, die einen ganzheitlichen und oekonomischen Ansatz des Risiko-Managements darstellen und daruber hinaus die praktische Anwendung und Erfahrung - vor allem auch in Industrie- und Handelsunternehmen - beschreiben. Insbesondere hielten wir es fur dringend erfor- derlich - bei aller Diskussion um formale Anforderungen des Kontroll-und Transparenz- gesetzes (KonTraG) -, den oekonomischen Nutzen des Risiko-Managements nicht aus den Augen zu verlieren. Die Unternehmensplanung und damit die kunftige Entwicklung von Unternehmen ist mit Unsicherheiten behaftet, sie wird beeinflusst von Gefahren und Chancen.
