Useful for my grandson. I didn't want him to feel trapped in full clips but needed something to stop slipping on muddy trails. They also make him put his feet in the correct position I had to fix them to standard plastic pedals and the supplied bolts were not long enough.. Solution was longer bolts or saw a bit off the pedals. I did of bit a sawing and problem solved. I might get some for my shopping bike.Useful for my grandson. Sizing of clips is very poor, despite me ordering L/XL size; my size 11 cycling boots are far too big for the clips. The fixings are poor, the mounting bolts are far too short, and the securing nuts are plain; and not self locking. I would not recommend these to anybody Is it good value, depends on what eBay mean as good value, but yes; because they're less than £10 and might be useful for something else!! Greatly improves your pedalling!
There are not many of these clips around now but they are a gem for those who just want to improve their pedalling efficiency without cleats or toe straps. Other brands I have seen only come in a one-size-fits-all option and flex too much to be of any use. Great for gravel bikes!
Don’t view these toe “clips” as second rate. At 70, I’ve bought a gravel bike. Neither toe clips and straps nor clipped on pedals work for me when off-roading but no location at all also poses issues. These items are terrific. Unless you have very small feet, buy the larger size. I flipped the pedals round without looking down first go...it’s easy. Nicely made too. I replaced the supplied nuts with nylocs I happened to have but a dot of thread loc would work as well. Then forget. It’s relaxing just knowing your feet aren’t going to slide forward and off the pedals.Don’t view these toe “clips” as second rate. At 70, I’ve bought a gravel bike.
