    British Intriiique set at Oxford University. It doesn't get any better.

    This set of the entire season was economically priced and arrived in a short time. I wanted to gift it to my husband, but I couldn't wait. I opened it and watched the pilot. We watched some episodes via PBS years ago. I;m so happy to be able to start from the very beginning and see the lives of the main players unfold. Highly recommend this series.

    Great show, great collection.

    If you read this, you are probably already familiar with Lewis and maybe also the older Morse series, which the Lewis series is based on. I watched Lewis on TV back in the days, and later my wife and I watched them on Netflix. Unfortunately Lewis and Morse became unavailable in our region, but these episodes are so great, that they're worth watching over again. So I decided to simply buy this DVD box set. This is a great value set, and sometimes it convenient to watch something without needing to have access to stream it.

    great series, scratched disk

    Not new, first disk severely scratched. The first disk is the pilot and first episode. Last disk scratched, not as bad. Listed as "NEW", clearly used. I did not open it right away, now beyond the 30 day return period. Too late to return, I will try to get the first disk only as a replacement. However, Inspector Lewis is fantastic. Some might disagree with me, but this series is right up there with Prime Suspect. So if you can get a clean copy, definately do it. I love Lewis and Hathaway (great pair), you need to keep attention to the subtle facial details and quips. really adds spice to the show. PS- rates 5 stars, but 4 stars because of the scratched disk.

    I love a good mystery. I have been an Inspector Morse fan from way, way, back. I love the continuation of the now Inspector Lewis’s story, from when he was Morse’s Sergeant. The series does not disappoint, good stories, colorful characters, great series that will become a favorite for any mystery fan...
