Excellent pair of snips.
really nice tool it says it will cut 1mm metal and it does a reasonable job on brass. I'd not like to have to cut much sheet stainless with it though. I think it would maybe manage but struggle. the were very good for snipping through 2m stainless bolts though and no marks on the blade. The first thing I tried to cut was 2.5mm hardened copper and it wouldn't get through that. just too much material to move out the way I think. They feel like chunky scissors on tin can and would make very short work of any aluminium I think. One thing to note is you will find these quite uncomfortable if you have small hands. The handles must be long to provide leverage but it does mean that the grip is very large and not practical for small hands. A typical Stanley tool, looks well made and, so far, is working well. I've been cutting wire mesh to keep vermin out of animal sheds and this tool is enabling me to work single handed. There's plenty of leverage to enable cutting harder/thicker materials and I don't see any problem cutting steel sheet later. Good for small pieces of metal
This product is good provided you are only wanting to cut small pieces. Doesn't work well on larger sheets. Think I would have preferred the offset version but cannot fault this product.

A snip at the price
I have used them for cutting 22g & 20g mild steel cut through it reasonably easy on 22g a bit more difficult on 20g considering I have arthritis in both hands so would recommend them.
