Surprisingly excellent product, it's PiperCross for me all the way!!
Having been a die-hard K&N filter buyer for many years i decided to try other filters as i felt the price of K&N filters had escalated too much, so i thought i'd give PiperCross a go for my BMW Z4M, afterall it's half the price of the K&N. To look at the PiperCross doesn't look as well made as the k&N (but i'm certainly no expert on this), the fit is good, but the product feels flimsy, and the rubber seals are a lot thinner. The PiperCross is very easy to clean, just run a hoover over it, and then leave to soak in warm soapy water, before re-oiling. But most important thing of all is you can actually feel a improvement in the cars performance, low rpm torque has improved, as well as top-end performance, plus i'm getting 1.7mpg saving on fuel economy, i suppose because the cars running ... Needed for bmw e60 523i... I got this item fast but filter is to small by 1cm... filter quality feels good.. just sadly it's not fitted.
