    Simple mechanical controls in a proven design. Great performing no frills heater.

    I already own multiple Vornado products including a VH103 I purchased in 2011 that I'm still using to this day. What I liked the most is that it uses mechanical (not electronic) switches. You have 3 rocker switches with a main power switch, heat low/high setting and fan setting). You also have a dial to enable fan only mode (to use year round) or auto. You can use this with a remote or smart outlet (15A rating). What I don't like - somewhat hard to clean. In my experience, cleaning is not for the faint of heart. It is built exactly like the VH103 such that you have to unscrew the unit completely to separate the front and back, then I used a shopvac to blow out the dust from the heating coils and a cloth to wipe down the fan blade and clean out the grille. I've done this about every 3 ...

    Great heater and fan, a little loud

    This heater warms up my room quickly and the thermostat feature works well to maintain desired temperature. Fan is a little noisy, but not horrible. I love that I can run the fan without heat to circulate air in my home especially when running an air purifier. Cream color fits well with my plaster walls. Auto-shutoff for tippage actually works! Would buy again, would recommend.

    Get it for the heater, not the fan.

    Pros: - Fast and efficient with small rooms. This heats up a small room within 15 minutes on high (1500W) at setting 4. Once warm, it can be switched to low (750W) and turned down by 1 to maintain temperature. - Small. Doesn't take a lot of space and is easy to move around. Cons: - Noisy. Makes a notable but tolerable hum when operating. - Cannot set a temperature. Numbers are for adjusting the run time, but you must experiment. Set it too low and the room will cool faster than it gets heated. - Weak fan. Perfect for heating, but not for cooling a room during summer.

    Little Power house

    This is a great little portable heater for small spaces. I use it to heat a single room in the winter time vs heating up the whole house to warm up that room. Its relatively quiet and puts out a decent amount of heat vs several other portable heaters I tried out. I have only purchased them used due to the price of a new one but have been quite pleased with its performance.
