    Erwin chisels

    The chisels come a foldable wallet to keep all together good quality tools steel end for use with mallet movement

    Not that great

    Not the best chisels I've used. They are near the top of a poor selection. Chisels just aren't made like the old Marple split proof red and yellow handled ones. These Irwin ones blunt quickly, the metal strike plate comes loose and swivels around after a while and the rubber grip does not take the beating that a solid handle would. These chisels would suit the D.I.Y.er but for a frequent use chise,l I would choose something more robust.

    Ultra strong and durable

    Excellent value for money, 5 chisels plus oilstone bargain buy. Quality is first class made by Irwin tools (its to be expected). These chisels will last for years with the minimum of maintenance. The handles have good soft feel grip's and metal end caps so they can take the knocks.
