    Based on a strange premise, British TV show JONATHAN CREEK has nevertheless found an audience among fans of similarly themed crime dramas such as CRACKER and INSPECTOR MORSE. The story begins when journalist Madeline Magellan (Caroline Quentin) is snooping around and meets Jonathan Creek (Alan Davies). Creek invents magic tricks for a prominent magician, and Magellan uses his ingenuity to help her crack a particularly puzzling case she is working on. The two subsequently team up for more crime-solving riddles, and frequent hints of romance between the pair gently tease the audience throughout. This release includes the entire third season of the show.

      The quality of the item was as described ‘like new’. The value and appearance were flawless as described. My only issue was with the shipping. I feel like I paid a lot of extra money for shipping and the seller did not even ship it in protected bubble wrap or anything. Just some paper that was crumpled up on top and below of it. It just seemed cheap and like the seller didn’t really care how the item arrived. But, thankfully it was still perfect.

      While I appreciate the positive feedback, the information on the shipping here simply isn't true. This was shipped in a protective bubble envelope, and because it's a steelbook that can dent easily, it was also wrapped in additional bubblewrap inside the envelope to ensure that it was extra secure. No paper of any type was put into the envelope at all. Extra care was taken to ensure that this was safe, and i dont know why you would try to claim otherwise here

      British Columbo

      Jonathan Creek was developed as a kind of British Columbo and does not disappoint this Columbo fan. I also really enjoy the Jonathan Creek podcast, by Gerry and Iain, which I download from iTunes. That's how I found out about JC, and I'm thankful. Hours of entertainment!!!

      If you like ANY of the following: - Detective shows - Intricate plot details - Dry English humor ... then you owe it to yourself to watch this show. Start with the earlier seasons, though. :)
