      Quality pestle & mortar.

      I have to say; this granite pestle and mortar is first class. A good size and and great feel to it. Well worth the money and looks like it will outlive all of us in our household. Looks great left out on the side, when not in use. Already made light work of crushing some garlic and fresh chillies.

      Good but there's a catch.

      Good size for a small household. Lovely to look at. Nice firm pestle. You have to wear it in before use! The inside is rough finished so you have to fill it with water and grind the surface you are going to use. This takes a couple of hours and it's best to leave the same water in (it becomes a paste). Once this is finished, fill the mortar with a small amount of dry rice and do it again. You should then have a usable mortar and pestle.

      Lovely pestel and mortar.

      I love this pestel and mortar. It's nice and heavy and good quality. Looks lovely on my kitchen worktop. I'm using it to grind coffee beans and it does the job very effectively. I would definitely buy again

      Substantial and definitely nonslip

      So glad I bought this pestle and mortar for myself. I Christened it last night when I made a peppercorn sauce. It made the job of crushing the peppercorns so easy and rather satisfying. I would definitely recommend this equipment.
