    good enuf to hold things while i work on them on desk being evolution of 3rd hand is slow in coming

    smaller than i thought, probably needs something in pix to compare it to... something we all know what size it is (soda can), good for holding things while work on them on the desk so small is ok. works well, 3/8" threaded thing on it so i put a 3/8" nut on the back side threads so if i want to make sure it stays put, it does. i think threads are cut into plastic, but hard plastic so not meant to be HEVI DUTY, i used it to compress valve springs on a small motor that i'm building to compress spring til it was almost collapsed so i could measure between coils of spring to know when approaching coil bind, measured with dial caliper.
