• All goods should be checked before the delivery note or electronic proof of delivery is signed.
• Goods arriving damaged should be signed for as damaged as any subsequent claim for damage will not be accepted by AKW.
• Unchecked goods should be signed for as unchecked as any subsequent claim for damage or shortages will not be accepted by AKW.
• Damages and shortages must be notified to AKW within 72 hours of delivery being made and signed for unchecked.
• Returns must be notified to AKW within 30 days of delivery. (Please note that made to measure items and Independence units are excluded from the returns process).
• Any costs incurred by ourselves as a result of cancellation of orders for bespoke items at any time, will be chargeable.
 
Returns:
To enable us to deal with your request for a return, please note that:
• Goods must be returned within 30 days of delivery (please note that made to measure items and independence units are excluded from the returns process)
• Returns incur a £50.40 collection charge if collection is required
• Buyer pays for return postage if returning using logistics of choice
• Images of packaging & the product [if product is opened] must be provided. Return processing time: 15 business days
• Goods must be returned in their original packaging and securely taped – any goods that require repackaging may be liable to a 15% reboxing charge
• Only items you have requested to be returned are authorised for return – we reserve the right to return any non-authorised items to you
• We reserve the right to deduct repackaging or restocking fees (where applicable) from any credit/refund amount
• AKW disclaims liability for goods found upon inspection by us to be defective due to improper installation
