    My project plane

    I reserched this plane before buying it and knew what I was getting. I can not afford a top of the line one but I do have the skills and tools to rebuild it to a decent tool. If you can do the same you can take pride in your accomplishmet and save quite a bit of cash, if not save up the money for a good one but they usually need a litthe tweeking as well. I like the chalange and can afford this one.

    Cheap, but too cheap.

    I knew is was cheep and was willing to accept some issues, but the capping plate is several mm to narrow and easily twists as you adjust the depth of the plate, making it almost impossible to keep the depth.

    Fine Woodworking Tool

    Not great

    Overall it’s a cheapy. I knew that buying it. But the bottom was not even close to level. The handle came apart as soon as I tried it and the blade was already chipped and cracked when it arrived.
