GLOVE POWER CONNECTOR DESIGNED TO FAIL
My previous Gerbing's gloves were premium quality and eventually the power lead failed after a good life which is NOT covered by the lifetime warranty but I was still extremely happy. I previously recommended them to everyone along with their other products. However sadly these new XR12 so called premium gloves power connector and a Gerbing cigarette lead are both at least a third of the cross sectional area and much shorter than my old ones. I can see that the flimsy power connectors will have a very short life and of course are not covered by the lifetime warranty. The gloves themselves are fab but when the non replaceable lead fails they will be no use. If you use them for very light use then you maybe OK. This also means that they are not good for the environment when you have to keep ... FANTASTIC
Quite simply I should have bought these years ago. If you ride in the cold you are wasting your time and money buying anything else these are in a different league to any other winter gloves or heated grips. I was worried the wiring may be a nuisance its not it takes seconds to plug in and have warm hands.
