Regarding the question, as others may be also interested: To use our gears, there is no need for any lubrication, as the material itself has self lubricating properties and is also wear resistant. (however, if you prefer to use some light instrument oil as lubricant, it will not do harm, as the material is also resistant to chemicals... We still suggest using it dry though.)
