    Practice with this product before you use it on your engine. There is a learning curve to it.

    I did NOT like using this product. It is specified by Subaru for the repair I undertook (oil pump replacement for an '09 Forester) but I did not care for the product at all. In fairness, it is advertised as "sag type" gasket sealant, and in that the mfgr is 100% correct. It sagged, it dripped, it was just shy of being completely runny. But so far, it has worked as specified. I am much more familiar with Permatex brand and other silicone style products that have some body to them and stay where you put them. I had a fairly steep learning curve using this. I had to clean off and reapply three times in order to get the seal I wanted without making too much of a mess inside the oil pump. For an automated assembly process it may work well, but manually...not so much. Others have ...

    Sealer did the job it was supposed to do but for the amount I bought I though the expiration date on the tube seemed pretty soon , 9/19 giving me only 5 months to use it. Could be this is normal, I don’t know.

    The same liquid gasket that they use at the factory, but cheaper than what is offer at the dealership. Easy to apply (comes with tube applicator). One tube is enough to apply on more than 2 engines (clutch cover and alternator cover per engine).
