Nasa bm-1 battery monitor
Product looked good fresh out of the packaging, wiring and instructions for installation are simple, soon as i turned it on i noticed strsight away missing illumination in the top of both corners of the screen, i called a distributor and he said "its a manufacturing fault, there all like it" well thats great, if it was cheap, but its £100 for fuck sake, probably could've got a £10 one and done the same job, you cant sell faulty products at retail price when you know theres something wrong with it. Im sure theres a trading standards issue i could raise, for now its fitted and has been for about a week and it still isnt working, ive used appliances on the battery system and recharged batteries and it still hasnt registered to set itself up, not happy so far at all, if it doesnt start work ... Nice battery monitor.
Pro: Provides information regarding battery condition. Con: Mounting requires some depth and access to the rear for the clamp bracket. Need to verify you have both before cutting hole. Cable stub out of back rather than connector. Gave it 3 stars because of mounting issues and no rear connector, just cable stub..

A very useful instrument
The most useful information supplied by this instrument is the charge/discharge rate in/out of the battery and with the voltage seems quite accurate. Time to charge/discharge and capacity levels should be used with caution and this explained in the accompanying instructions. A good instrument at a fair price.
