My experience trying out Dr Bonner's 18 in 1 hemp baby unscented pure Castile soap
I have recently decided to explore natural chemical free options because I want to get an African grey parrot - Birds that are very sensitive who can be harmed even if you use a teflon fry pan or iron in their presence due to the fumes - so trying to remove potential toxins such as chemical laden cleaning and beauty products from my home in preparation for having a parrot. I have just used it to wash my hair and as a body wash so can only comment on that but also understand it can be used for multiple purposes including washing and as a bug repellant on plants. With washing my hair it is very effective but you need to be aware it has NO foaming agents or perfume or colour or anything so it doesn't look and smell and lather like other shampoos with foaming agents, colours etc. My hair ... It is just a very simple product that does what it is meant to. It does take a bit more effort to get it right through your hair (I have stupidly thick long hair) without the foaming effect but that is not an issue for me as I value having a more healthy home and non stripped hair and skin more.
