Honestly I bought this as I'd not seen it for many years & was on a bit of a nostalgia kick after watching the original trilogy & having seen this at the cinema when it came out I decided to buy it. Sadly, the mind can play tricks on you & this film isn't up to the level of the original trilogy or even the newer films which, even though they're a remake of the original films, they have captured some of the magic of the original trilogy. The Beginning of a Saga
I had this when it first came out but over the years I managed to lose my copy and I had all the other movies so my collection needed this for completion. It's the beginning of one of the most epic series of movies of the modern era. Love it or loathe it everybody knows a line or two from Star Wars. To be honest its not the greatest movie in the world but it lays down the plot lines for a story which took 34 years to be told.
