Overpaid for an open box item that was listed elsewhere brand new for $30 LESS than what I paid with FREE shipping. But hey, at least the seller was kind enough to refund half of my shipping costs, after 1. Telling me the item was listed as an open box item but is indeed brand new. FALSE. 2. Telling me that in the future, I need to call the store for a better price. This is customer service!? WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN! BUYER BEWARE!

2002 Still the Best (to my ear)

I have tried most cymbals. I use Zildjian hats and some Signatures. These do not tarnish. I have had this brand for 10 years without any tarnish. I had the Neal Peart Sabian's that turned green in less than a year.

  • Good cymbal

Paiste does sound good they just don’t last as long as some other brands. eBay is the way to go if you want a good price on these cymbals!

  • Thunderous and Shimmering

Phenomenal cymbal. This cymbal sounds large but plays small. Most large crashes require either huge exertion to play or they're so thin that the tone becomes extremely dark and durability is sacrificed. Not this cymbal. This cymbal responds to the slightest touch even though it is quite heavy. The thickness and weight give it a thunderous, shimmering tone which is at home in many styles of music. I use it mostly for slow doom metal with my other large Paiste cymbals (24" ride, 15" sound edge hats, 20" novo china). Try one out! You won't be disappointed.

  • Great Paite product vthe 2002 series cymbals

Well, I have always been a Paiste fan for sure! through the decades I have played Zildjian A's in the 1970's, then black label 2002's in the early 1980's, to Sabian AA. Now at the young age of 51 I play Paiste 2002's and Giant beats because Paiste has that beautiful warm glassy sound, as this 20" crash sings when i hit it, was a great buy at a fair price in great condition!! Thank you John Pavc Chicago

  • Paiste 20"

Great deal, and pretty good sound. Not great, but pretty good. Bought an 18" too, both pretty good.
