He was adjusting well to life outside the mercenary company, the Crimson Guard. However, it it is not so easy for an ex-Fist of the Malazan Empire to disappear, especially one under sentence of death from that same Empire. For there is a new Emperor on the throne of Malaz and he is dwelling on the Empire's failed invasion of Korel. In the vaults beneath Unta, the Imperial capital, lie the answers to that disaster; out of this buried history surfaces the name Stonewielder. In Korel, Lord Protector Hiam, commander of the Stormguard, faces the potential annihilation of all that he holds dear. With few remaining men and a crumbling stone wall that has seen better days, he confronts an ancient enemy- the sea-borne Stormriders have returned. Stonewielder is an enthralling new chapter in the epic story of a brilliantly imagined world. The Malazan Empire series continues in Orb Sceptre Throne...

Book arrived safely packaged in perfect order. Item as described, new. Thank you Rarewaves Outlet. Fascinating book, great addition to my collection. Great price. Would recommended this seller. No communication needed with seller, so don't know what to rate with regards to communication (please dont take lack of feedback on this matter as a negative). Thanks again.

The blue vinyl colour is darker than in the generic picture used (see my photo of actual vinyl colour). Nevertheless, it’s still a nice package with the very nice illustration booklet inside. Delivery time is a little stretched, but with free postage and a good value package, this has to be expected (delay was probably caused by the royal mail anyway). Communication was excellent and I’m glad I made my purchase from Rarewaves Outlet. Thumbs Up!

Arrived early. Brand new and sealed as described. Paperwork mail packaging. One disc was dislodged during transit but no damage occurred luckily. This set has no extras just the 8 episodes. Good communication with seller. Would recommend. Thanks

  • A great addition to the Malazan series.

Esslemont helped Erikson develop the whole world used for the Malazan series and has written about 5 or 6 books which fit nicely into that series. I'd recommend visiting the Malazan wiki and following the suggested reading order for both the Erikson AND Esslemont books to help you get the most from each. That said, each book alone is a fantastic read from start to finish if you just want to get your toes wet without committing to full immersion. But I'm sure once you've read one then you'll be hooked.
