Easy to use, easy to back up and the battery seems to be good
My previous phone was an iPhone 6S which I loved. Nearly all the features were what I required , except the ability to customise the sounds fully. Apart from the fact that it does not allow adding more notification sounds , it was a palaver to transfer sound files for ringtones , which themselves had to have a special format. The Samsung Galaxy S7 on the other hand is a doddle for this. I connect to my PC and the phone appears like an external hard drive. You can drag and drop files into the Notification folder. In my case I have sound clips and these can be in any normal sound file format. It is a good mobile with lots of features, but the battery is drained very quickly, although I set it on moderate use of minimal applications. Compared to my previous set, the battery duration is less than a full day, however, charging is very fast compared to other sets, which is good.

amazing phone so far!
definitely I was a little crossed for paying so much for this phone! Nevertheless the battery life, the screen , the address card and especially the camera performance in low light photos!!! what a difference from my previous nexus 6! the phone froze for a couple of hours a couple of days ago but returned back to normal. looking forward to receive the android nougat update.

Samsung galaxy S7 and VR headset
Amazing screen, brilliant camera and decent battery life! Welcome return of the memory card slot and better VR experience with the newer headset, mainly due to better ventilation and comfort. My main gripes/ concerns are that the VR apps and data rarely use the memory card and 32gb or even 64gb internal memory not quite enough. This is the reason for losing one star in my rating. Sort out this memory card usage in a future update and I would happily give this 5 stars. Overall though this is a much improved set up than the previous S6 model. The failings in the S6 and the now discontinued note 7 models nearly destroyed my faith in Samsung, so it was with trepidation I made this purchase. I can now relax somewhat with my decision and can heartily recommend both the Samsung Galaxy S7 phone ... Amazing screen, brilliant camera and decent battery life! Welcome return of the memory card slot and better VR experience with the newer headset, mainly due to better ventilation and comfort.
