About this product

Product Information

Director Rich Ragsdale joins in the 1970s horror revival (HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES, CABIN FEVER) with his supernatural scarefest THE CURSE OF EL CHARRO. Looking for respite from the stresses brought on by her sister's suicide, Maria (Mia Hoyos) travels to a remote desert home with three of her female college friends. Unbeknownst to them, the place is haunted by the evil spirit of a vengeful ghost known as El Charro (Andrew Bryniarski, who played Leatherface in the 2003 remake of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE). Motorhead's Lemmy makes a cameo appearance as a priest.

Delivered as described. I left a note asking that delivery instructions say "Deliver to door" due to high package theft. This was not followed.

  • I'll take the Curse

The filmography was stunning, and the use of European style animation to fill in the back story is so unusual and exciting; that you are drawn into the movie as you get to know each character. As the characters fall to El charro's revenge-especially the beautiful young girls-you are grateful for the release of spots of humor. The road bar scene, like the bar scene in Star Wars, is also stunningly awesome; as is the shocker at the end. This is a must see for fans of horror, action and movie history. dadrags

  • The Curse of El Charro

The Curse is right. Poorest movie I have watched in a long time. Low rent special effects added to the misery of watching this flop. Story line was even confused with it's own location. Plot says they are in Arizona but the description on the dvd case says they are in Mexico. This one belongs on the late, late, late night insomniac theater and you should probably be stoned to watch it. Sound quality erratic and it was so dark through most of the movie that it was tough to watch.

  • Good Scary Movie
