Bought thinking I'd be presented with the best evenly toasted Toast on the Planet for the Price! Meh, it's just a Toaster that does the same thing a Supermarket toaster does! Don't get me wrong build quality is good but so is a Breville at less than half the price! So if your into looks then throw your cash away otherwise buy cheap, cheerful and functional aye!🤪🤪🤪 Oh and to those who think it has features other do not, Erm all toasters lift n peak but it not called lift n peak, you just lift n av a look🤣🤣🤣

We loved our old one, but it was only two slice. This time we got a four slice and it is a great product, but sometimes the toast heats unevenly - we have to pop the bread up and turn it around in mid-toast. This never happened with the first one, so maybe they are taking shortcuts? At any rate, we would never want to buy another brand - Dualit is a great brand - but they need to sort out the uneven heating issue. We got our toaster quickly and it was packaged great.

Bought this model as a present as I have one myself - love this one because you can select 1,2,3, or 4 slices, can do bagels (one sided) - love the reliable mechanical lift (not the silly pop up nonsense) - and the timer is very adjustable. Bit annoying that even at this price you have to buy the (overpriced but really very useful) plate warmer rack for an additional cost... but we use it all the time. This toaster is like a long term family friend that has a great, indispensable presence in the kitchen.
